Mike graduated from the University of Virginia in 1993 where he earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering and was the captain of the swim team. He went on to further his education at the University of Connecticut Medical School and Newington Children’s Hospital.

Mike is a certified prosthetist by the American Board for Certification (ABC) and is an active member of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists. He is a skilled prosthetist with a unique specialty applying his automation & mechanical engineering background to Research and Development and upper extremity prosthetics. He is committed to improving current prosthetic designs and refining industry techniques.
