Timothy Rayer, CP
Tim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomechanics from Penn State University in 1994 before going on to complete his graduate work in Prosthetics at The University of Connecticut Medical School and Newington Children’s Hospital.
Tim is a certified prosthetist by the American Board for Certification (ABC) and is an active member of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists. He also serves as a clinical consultant for OSSUR North America, teaching the proper application of advanced components to prosthetists, physicians, and students throughout North America. Clinically, Tim specializes in the design and fit of transfemoral (AK), hemipelvectomy, hip disarticulation, as well as running prosthetics.
Tim co-founded Prosthetic Innovations, LLC to build a center of excellence that provides a higher standard of care and further improve patients’ lives. He has carefully chosen a staff that excels in delivering limb loss rehabilitation.
A native of the Greater Philadelphia Area, Tim is extremely proud to bring world class prosthetic care to his hometown community.
