On Friday, June 8, 2012, Archbishop Wood honored Junior Student, Jeff McDonald for his perseverance and inspiration six months after losing his leg. Wood's Student Council members organized a picnic and 5k Run/Walk honoring Jeff and proceeds will benefit Prosthetic Innovations, LLC' Philadelphia Limb Foundation. PLF will apply the funds toward a prosthesis for individuals in need.
