Tell us a little bit about yourself and how you became an amputee.
Jake has never known any different since he was born with his condition. The one thing Jake has to deal with is other kids constantly asking him about his leg. Thanks to Chris and the team, Jake's leg is so cool! Having Buzz and Woody on his prosthesis certainly makes it a little easier.

How has being an amputee changed your life?
One of our inspirations has been your newsletter and I have saved every copy for Jake. Since he is only five he likes to look at the pictures but can't read yet so I thought it would be great for him have the articles for when he is older.

What advice would you give to others who are new to the amputee community?
Advice that I can give as a parent of an amputee is don't let it stop your children from trying everything!

List some of your hobbies:
Jake just started swimming lessons and he loves it. I am so glad because this is something he can do year round! He also loves to bowl, play outside, ride his bike and go to the playground. He does everything a five-year old does!
