How has being an amputee changed your life?
It has only made me work harder in everything I do.
Who has been your biggest inspiration in helping you achieve success?
My grandfather has always been my biggest inspiration because he never once made me feel different than anyone else. He put it in my mind that I could do whatever I wanted to do. I still ride the unicycle he brought home to me when I was just eight years old.
What advice would you give to others who are new to the amputee community?
Don’t put limits on your self or compare yourself to anyone else. Cherish your unique abilities and use them to your advantage.
